How Texpedite collects and uses information

Texpedite, LLC ("we," "us") operates Texpedite. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website, web application, and related services.
2. Information we collect
- Account information (name, email, password hash).
- Payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
- Audio files and transcripts you upload, and related metadata.
- Usage, device, and log data (IP address, browser, actions in the Service).
- Communications you send to support.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Service, process transcriptions, bill your account, send transactional emails, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
We use third-party speech-to-text providers to process audio; their privacy practices apply to processing they perform on our behalf.
4. Retention
Transcript text is generally removed from our servers after approximately 45 days, while billing and account records may be kept longer. See our Terms of Service for details.
6. Your choices
You may access, update, or delete your account by contacting us. You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails via unsubscribe links.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect their information.
